What inspires me

Innovation centred on plants has been the guiding thread of my professional life. Exploring the potential of a new plant or finding new applications for familiar botanical materials are two complementary ways of pursuing this interest.

Photography grows naturally out of this fascination. It extends my observation of plants, their beauty and their details, and can help others discover them and appreciate the ingredients derived from them.

Reveal the potential of plants and their supply chains

APEX Botanicals connects knowledge of botanical resources with scientific and industrial expertise and market needs to support the development of innovative, sustainable ingredients. Assessing a botanical supply chain can be an integral part of an APEX assignment. I have personally carried out numerous botanical field missions, notably during my time at Yves Rocher.

A closer look at plants

The botanical and field photographs featured on this site are my own. They reflect my interest in plants, their details and the environments in which they grow. Alongside my consulting assignments, I can contribute photographs of plants, botanical materials and field settings to enrich ingredient dossiers and communication materials.
